About

My main research interests are the legal and societal responses to child pornography and the sexual grooming of children, law and medical ethics (particularly euthanasia), related aspects of criminal law, law and literature and the 'euthanasia' and medical experimentation programmes that were implemented in Nazi Germany.
I am happy to supervise undergraduate and MA dissertations/MPhils/PhDs upon the subjects of euthanasia and other aspects of medical law and ethics, child pornography/sexual grooming and other areas related to my research interests.
I have been a Senior Lecturer in Law at Lancaster University since September 2007. Previously, I was Lecturer in Law at the University of Manchester (2004-2007), and Lecturer in Law at the University of Central Lancashire (2000-2003).
